Product Description

The GYTS aerial fiber optic cable features single-mode or multimode fibers housed within high-modulus plastic loose tubes, with each 250μm fiber individually protected. These tubes contain a waterproof gel filler for enhanced moisture resistance. The cable adopts a stranded loose tube design with a dense construction, utilizing a polyethylene outer sheath. Its hydrolysis-resistant loose tubes and specialized filling materials guarantee exceptional durability.

The cable core is formed by helically wrapping the tubes and fillers around a central strength member, creating a circular configuration. A protective PSP layer is then applied over the core, which is further sealed with filling compound. The final assembly includes a PE outer coating combined with steel tape reinforcement, providing outstanding crush resistance and moisture barrier properties. This design gives GYTS cables superior waterproof characteristics.
